           Autauga Coach Bobby Carr calls to go for it on 4 down. Tripp hands off to Tre Cutler he takes in from 62 yards out to score Autauga first Touchdown of the night at 10:02 in the 1st quarter. UAB dominated Savannah State with strong offense and defense showing.

UAB came out the first drive of the game went down the field to score on a Spencer Brown 3 yard run kick by Nick Vogel was good to put the Blazers up 7 to 0 at 10:54 in the 1st Quarter. In the 2nd quarter Chris Woolbright would intercept TJ Bell to take it in for a pick 6 to go up 14 to 0.                UAB and Savannah State has never meet in football. UAB  has 36 seniors is 2nd in most senior classes 1st in senior class is Navy with 37. UAB will return 20 starters 10 on offense side of the ball. They have 6 consecutive home wins for the blazers an FBS school record coming into Thursday night game. Defense is looking to replicate success from last season. Last year the Blazers was ranked 41st nationall...

Autauga Academy Football vs Bessemer Academy

Autauga starts there run to another state title as they travel today to Birmingham to play Bessemer at Birmingham Southern. Bessemer had a game last week that they won 51 to 21 in a SECIS Football game. While Autauga had to wait to start there season a week later. They say that a team improves the most between week 1 and 2 so we will see if Bessemer did improve the 2 teams play in a Spring jamboree at Autauga with Autauga getting the best of them then.
